The proposed dam is of the breakwater type with an upstream concrete wall (CFRD) 70 m high and with a storage capacity with a volume of 250 Mm3. The useful volume of the reservoir is 228 Mm3. The curtain of the projected dam has a length of 1,211 m, at an elevation of 188 meters above sea level
